Is it possible to reach the GoAnywhere Administration portal via the Gateway?

Answer

Yes, this is possible. You can achieve this by giving the GoAnywhere Gateway a DNS name or public IP address, then routing the 8001 connections to the Administration Console through 443 in the Services > Gateway Manager configuration screen within the GoAnywhere Administration console. 

Where xxx.xx.1.22 is the gateway and xxx.xx.x.120 is the GA server, add another configuration entry to the existing gateway manager settings.

If you have a cluster it is advised to apply this to every node in the applicable cluster, through the Gateway Manager for that Cluster.

NOTE: We do not recommend exposing the administration interface to the internet, as unauthorised access would expose the data and user information in the solution. If choosing to expose to the internet ensure it is locked down to known IP addresses.
