Diplomat Trial licence
The trial clock isn’t initiated until the installed service is started for the first time. Some assume it starts from the moment you request the trial, or maybe the later moment when you download the installer. To the contrary, if the Diplomat service hasn’t been started yet, then the trial clock hasn’t started, either. If it has been started at some point, but nothing has been done, then no big deal: Simply stop the service, uninstall the app, delete the “Coviant Software” folder from both Program Files and ProgramData, and then do the install to start the clock over.
For manually created trial license exception cases, Coviant would need to know specifically which edition the customer wants to trial. When you install the Diplomat trial, the installer prompts you to select which edition to enable. That can be changed, or the time frame can be extended, but doing so requires Coviant to make a selection ourselves, which means the customer must inform us which selection is appropriate for them.
